It’s 1999 and my mums just gave birth,

It’s either gonna make her life worse or it’s Gonna be a joyride like a bike on a road

It’s not gonna be long till I let my self go

And now I’m 9 years old,

Home all alone in my bedroom crying because dad has no soul, he’s left me beaten and bruised

Even to my mum he’s a man from the hell and a mistake to the earth

He should of been put down birth

Living like this has not made it very easy because it’s led me to make myself vulnerable boys use me like a trike on the street,

There the ones that have made me feel the worst

But I’ve got good memories even though they treat me like dirt,

Just a young girl finding her life hard but no matter what it’s gonna get easier

I now live with my nan because mums been sent down for a stupid kids crap

Mum went in there after she walked down the isle

With my new step dad who I’ve known for a while

He’s a new man but he’s good man

And treats me like I’m his own fam,

Mums been in there for quite while

She’s doing well for her self and made mates

And I know she’s going to admire

How strong I’ve been while she’s been in

She’s not guilty because she’s amazing and got everyone behind her back

There’s a million people waiting to see her

For the first time in a while

I’d talk about my life even more but I’m only 14

Lifes gonna give me some more good&bad times

I guess I’ll just have to wait and see what the future brings me
